Directly opposite the pharmacy (Marienapotheke), you will see an impressive half-timbered double house from the late gothic period.
As can be seen from the different residential levels, it used to be two separate houses that were later combined under one gable. Hence, there are stairs leading up on the left entrance and steps going down on the right. The sandstone arch above the right entrance is a so-called spolia, meaning a salvaged or stolen piece from another building that was later added here.
