Description
The corner house at Tower Street 1 presents itself with richly decorated half-timbering and ornate corner posts from the year 1590.
The color tone of the half-timbering is the typical "Franconian Red", which was long believed to have been achieved through the use of ox blood. However, this theory has since been abandoned.
