This building was constructed in 1682, mainly in half-timbering, on the corner of Uhrturmgasse and Schlossweg.
Above the entrance, the relief shield of the inn "Zur Krone", which was established in 1844, is still visible. This house used to be home to a brewery. In the 19th century, the owner of the Krone also ran a garden restaurant with a bowling alley on the Fischbach. At this point there is still the entrance to an ice cellar for the associated brewery.
The hand-carved front door has been preserved to this day.
The neighbouring building also served as a film set for Edgar Reitz's Heimatfilm "Heimat 3: Die Auswanderer nach Brasilien". During the filming, parts of the town centre were set back in past decades and it even snowed in June.
