The beautiful timber framing of the Dannefeld village church from 1774 is largely preserved. Only the west wall of the bell tower is not preserved in its original form. The church is rich in sacred art treasures, among which the late Gothic winged altar from the 16th century has a great art historical significance. It is said to have been bought by the Calvörde parish in the early 17th century. Displayed is the Madonna in a halo, surrounded by saints. The figures of the twelve apostles are located in the altar wings. Of high cultural historical value, on the other hand, is the Dannefeld peasant flag from 1675 - a true piece of local history. The Drömling farmers received it from the hands of Friedrich Wilhelm of Brandenburg, the "Great Elector", because they had prevented Swedish troops from occupying the region. On several occasions, such as in 1677 in Gardelegen and later in Berlin, the Dannefeld farmers presented their banner to its donor at parades.
