The full proportionality, the full craftsmanship of a half-timbered construction is evident in the church in Sichau, built in the middle of the 18th century. Its tower, completely renovated in 1959, is one of the very few testimonies of one of the last GDR church renewal programs. This is reminded by the Bible verse in a tower beam. From the period of the church's creation, the pulpit altar is designed in a rural style. The highlight of the church's inventory: the more than three hundred year old Baroque organ, one of the oldest instruments of its kind in the region. Closely connected to the Sichau church is the odyssey of the valuable epitaph of Domherr Busso Klamor von Alvensleben, who died in Genoa in 1595. His burial place is St. Nikolai zu Kalbe an der Milde, but the tombstone probably never stood there, instead it ended up in Zichtau after Sichau. However, the plan to erect it here was never realized. In 1867, the heavily damaged epitaph was restored and moved to the village of Uhrsleben in Börde.
