Description

On both sides of the sand road, one can occasionally see historical brewery and civilian houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Originally, there were 400 of these buildings in Gardelegen. However, today only 22 remain. Many of them fell victim to the five major city fires, which broke out due to the incorrect storage of hops in the breweries.
