Description

Here once stood the Magdeburg Gate, one of the four gates of the medieval town. Unlike the Stendal and Salzwedel Gates, it consisted only of two small gate towers, which however fell victim to a road widening. Thus, nothing remains of this city gate, except for the bricks used for the walls of the Lindenhof Garden.
